Report Street Light Outages Now! The City of Norwalk and Southern California Edison (SCE) appreciate your help keeping our community safe by reporting street light outages. SCE owns and maintains over 5,400 street lights in the City. Their normal response time is 5 to 7 working days, but may take longer depending on the workload. There are three quick ways to report an outage:
1. Use the link and submit request online - Click Here To Report
2. Call SCE directly, 24 hours a day, at 1-800-611-1911.
3. Call Norwalk Public Services staff at 562-929-5511, Mon. - Fri. from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. You may also call after hours and leave a message. Note the City owns the safety lights placed over the City's signalized intersections. These are repaired/maintained by the City.
It will be helpful to provide a pole number if available, or you may place a ribbon on the pole, so technician can easily identify it.
