General Information

Fixed-Route
Currently, the fixed route service consists of 8 routes, which service Norwalk and adjacent communities. The NTS Route 4 rail feeder shuttle service provides a direct connection between the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Transportation Center (Metrolink Commuter Rail Station) and the Metro Green Line Norwalk Station (Light Rail).

    Fixed Route Span of Service
  • Weekday service is provided as early as 4:10 a.m. and as late as 11:45 p.m.
  • Weekend service is provided as early as 6:45 a.m. and as late as 6:59 p.m.

Dial-A-Ride On November 1974, NTS' demand-responsive transit service for persons with disabilities was initiated. Service is now available to persons with disabilities (as outlined in the Dial-A-Ride application) as well as senior citizens age 60 years or older.

  • Weekday service is provided from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Weekend service is provided from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Taxi vouchers are available for late night service from 7:00 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. Vouchers may only be used for trips within the City of Norwalk.
