About Norwalk Transit
Norwalk Transit System (NTS) has been operating fixed-route and paratransit service in Los Angeles County since 1974. Our fixed route operation serves an area, which includes the City of Norwalk and portions of Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, La Mirada, and Whittier. Norwalk Transit’s paratransit dial-a-ride service operates within the jurisdictional boundary of the City of Norwalk. NTS provides connector shuttle bus service between the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Transportation Center and the Metro Green Line Studebaker station in Norwalk. Presently, Metrolink (commuter rail service between Orange County and Los Angeles) provides weekday train service to the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Transportation Center. This rail feeder service implemented by NTS provides direct interconnectivity between rail stations (Metrolink - commuter rail and Metro Green light rail).
